About Shamika
Shamika Chaves is a Children’s Book Illustrator, Author and Graphic Designer based in Mumbai, India. Shamika pursued a degree in Applied Art and have illustrated and designed over 25 children’s books and a boxset of 10 board books so far.
Her work has been nominated for @neevliteraturefestival @thebkawards @attagalatta @blflitfestival among many others as well as she was shortlisted for @publishing_next ‘Illustrator Of The Year 2021’ award.
Shamika have also authored, illustrated and designed 3 books with @harpercollinsin
